A template is used to indicate when a cadet will take the course. When a cadet selects a FOS/MAJ with a template the courses associated on the template are applied to the cadets 8 Term Academic Plan (8tap). Not all FOS/MAJ are candidates for templates.
The goal is to facilitate the registration process. Any courses that require a decision such as electives will have to be manually placed on the cadets academic plan.
