SCOPE
This course examines a range of advanced interdisciplinary topics in engineering. The focus in on development of the ability to effectively design and analyze experiments. Topics include processing of audio, thermal, and other data specific to the interests of the instructor team for each offering. Advanced topics such as compressible flow and turbulence will be explored in this course, but additional topics from civil engineering, computing services, electrical engineering, mathematical science, mechanical engineering, and physic may be explored. A heavy emphasis is placed on the ability to effectively assess potential uncertainties in experiments and to communicate technical results to an expert audience.
