| PL471 provides an interdisciplinary examination of leadership in combat at the tactical level. The course establishes a theoretical foundation for understanding the human dimension of combat and investigates the factors that influence effective leadership of soldiers in high-stress, dynamic environments. Cadets will engage with a diverse collection of readings, films, first-hand accounts from combat veterans, and guided self-study to critically analyze leadership challenges and strategies in combat situations.
