SCOPE
Applied General Psychology for Leaders is an introductory course that focuses on the development of an awareness and understanding of one's own behavior and the behavior of others. In addition to examining the cognitive, physical, and social components of the human dimension, PLl00B also includes a focus on the psychology of gender, sexuality, building healthy relationships, and sexual aggression. Further, a review of principles underlying sexual violence prevention efforts at public universities and in military environments is included. PLI00B emphasizes the application of psychological principles to everyday life, both as a cadet and as an officer, helping prepare cadets to serve as leaders of character committed to the values of Duty, Honor, Country, and to demonstrate professional excellence in service to the Nation. THIS IS A PILOT COURSE NOT YET APPROVED BY THE ACADEMIC BOARD.
