| Cadets participate in a three-week program of events in either the peoples republic of China or Taiwan, as coordinated, respectively, by the Defense Attaché Office, Beijing and the American Institute in Taipei. The program is designed to offer cadets an opportunity to use their language skills and experience Chinese culture. Participants will visit areas of political, cultural, geographical and historical significance, as well as host nation military academies. Cadets will have a chance to meet with civil and military leaders, Chinese and Taiwanese cadets, educators, and members of the United States Foreign Service and Defense Attaché organization serving in country. | |||||||||
