The course presents program design and construction techniques in moderate detail, with consideration given to principles of software engineering. Cadets will use a PC-based, integrated program development environment and sophisticated application software. Problem solving using the computer as a tool is a central theme throughout the course as cadets will employ a design methodology to solve problems efficiently and logically. Emphasis is placed on learning how to learn and individual discovery.
