SCOPE
This course surveys canonical science- and science-inspired writing from the ancient world to the modern day. Students will assess the influence of creative work on scientific discovery and the impact of discovery on imaginative literature. Readings will incorporate a variety of literary and technical genres including, but not limited to, poetry, drama, fiction, scientific treatises, and technical writing. **This is a pilot course during terms AY27-2 and AY29-2; it must undergo review by the Curriculum Committee NLT AY31-1 to continue.**
