COURSE TITLE EFF YEAR EFF TERM DEPARTMENT CREDIT HOURS
EM301A THERMODYNAMICS 2003 1 Civil and Mechanical Engineering 3.5 (BS=0.0, ET=3.5, MA=0.0)
SCOPE
This course should be taken by students who wish to complete an abet program which requires thermodynamics. The course content of EM301A is identical to EM301, Thermodynamics. The added half credit hour of work is obtained by completion of a comprehensive, out-of-class design problem. This design problem provides the opportunity to apply the principles of thermodynamics which are taught in the classroom to a realistic problem encountered by practicing engineers. (Change Course # to ME301 effective 2004-1)
LESSONS: 41 @ 55 min (3.000 Att/wk) LABS: 6 @ 120 min
