EE407 (Version: 2003 1) COURSE DETAILS (ARCHIVED)

COURSE TITLE EFF YEAR EFF TERM DEPARTMENT CREDIT HOURS
EE407 ELECTRONIC DESIGN 2003 1 Electrical Engineering and Computer Science 3.5 (BS=0.0, ET=3.5, MA=0.0)
SCOPE
The course focuses on design and operation of a wide variety of application-oriented circuits that include active filters, oscillators, voltage and current regulators, and communications-related circuit topologies. Thermal issues, printed circuit board layout, and device fabrication technologies are discussed as well. This course extensively uses engineering software packages and CAD tools for design, simulation and analysis. Cadets will choose their design project for EE408(A) and initiate the use of project management techniques to plan their EE408(A) project. (Note: Change course number to EE462 eff 2005-1, Class of 2005)
LESSONS: 43 @ 55 min (3.000 Att/wk) LABS: 4 @ 120 min
