| Healthcare is a complex and rewarding field with numerous career opportunities for military service members. This course is intended for cadets planning to attend medical school and/or seriously interested in a healthcare career. The course will examine important aspects of medicine that transcend the basic sciences including medical history, economics, ethics, and challenges to healthcare in the United States. An introduction to military medicine will be provided with information on deployments, career opportunities, and changes in military healthcare. Coverage of these important topics will provide exposure to key issues and help cadets prepare for futures as medical professionals. |
