SCOPE
This course covers the fundamentals of aircraft and spacecraft design. Topics include understanding the mission and payload requirements, sizing methods, understanding design space, and tradeoffs. Students will be introduced to typical design and analysis tools used in the industry. Cadets will conduct design projects for both conventional aircraft and space applications. ***Pending ABET-PEV review of ET=3.0CR.***
